We’re Eric and Tanish, the founders of Drowned Penguins.

We’ve always loved vintage clothing. Not because it’s trending, but because of the story it carries. The fits, the washes, the details, the way people dressed in the ’80s and ’90s—everything about that era had character.

That’s what inspired us to start Drowned Penguins.

Instead of asking you to hunt through thrift stores for old pieces, we create brand-new garments that capture the feeling of true vintage. Every fit, wash, and detail is carefully designed to bring back that old-school aesthetic.

To make each piece feel authentic, we hand-distress our garments ourselves, adding subtle wear and character so they don’t feel factory-made. The goal isn’t to make clothes look damaged—it’s to give them the depth, texture, and soul that make vintage clothing special.

We don’t follow trends, and we don’t design for everyone. We create limited pieces for people who genuinely appreciate the culture and craftsmanship behind vintage streetwear.
